In college, I discovered a love for the medium format camera. I love the square format and the challenge of composing an image by looking down into the mirrored viewfinder of my Minolta Autocord. I love the anticipation of waiting for my film to be developed and the joy of ripping open the envelope to see my developed film.
Film photography allows me to slow down and focus on the shot and all that goes into it: composition, exposure, focus, intention, story.
All photographs shot on Minolta Autocord with Kodak Portra 400 film.
